Remember that the antenna was attached via ball and socket joint?
Ball and socket joint means if any one of the three wires break, it falls.Ball and socket kept the base location and doesn't have the tower. still. However, we want to bolt the joint and change it back to a cantilever attachment. What is the moment reaction the base needs to supply? What is the moment at the base, or MA?
Break the forces into each direction and figure out the moment of each. Y will be 0. What do we do? We need the position vector, so as a result, we need to decide how to solve this problem and subsequently set up the cross product.
We either have to either bolt the cable or change the tension so that there is zero moment caused by the forces and as a result 0 moment in the bases.
