Financially Successful Habits
Only 12% of millionaires have inherited their wealth. Let's not get habits by eating, exercising, sleeping enough.
1. Keep a Journal. 90% is business/finance oriented. It's very important for people to dump their thoughts and have them on paper since it helps with clarity when thinking about long-term goal, it's clear and there can be times where there are some struggles, go back and look at what you were thinking 5 years ago to better understand the direction that you should be going and plan on going. This is also with struggling with depression/etc. Writing things down can be therapeutic. It really helps a lot of everything that you have done in life. What have I been hitting on? What have I been lacking?
2. Produce, not consume. Focus on producing instead of consuming during free time. A lot of wealthy people will focus on building skills, which is something like playing guitar, and it will make yhou more valuable as a person because you have more skills. It's something to focus on always trying to be productive. Learning new things, building new skills, and becoming more valuable as a person.
3. Think and Reflect. Bill Gates has a "think week" and every week every year and take a week isolate, go to a cabin and spend the time thinking and reading about life and about ideas, if you're focusing on goals. "Am I going the right direction?" If people are just focused on just working, they never take a step back and say "How can I find a more efficient way to complete this task" So doing something such as meditation or taking some time, or going to walks and clear walks can be useful.
4. Block scheduling. Fill out a calendar religiously. Use phone, Google Calendar, have everything you have to do for that specific day. People like bill Gates and Elon Musk literally block their schedules by 5 minute increments, and it does certainly create some order in your life. Having some type of routine, waking up, work out, spending time with family, have it fixed, and running around trying to be productive. Try to get back to work, but remember it's trash night, call somebody, etc. They never get to actually working. Scheduling everything out helps with productivity down the board.
5. Networking. This is very important, network with millionaires and people who are very successful. You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with, the people you associate with most closely are most likely the people you are going to become. Spend time with people who are financially successful. Associate with people who are super driven towards their goals, who are self-made. Ask if people to mentor, DM people on Instagram, ask them for some tips. Don't spend money and pay someone to "mentor" you, though.
