A supplement is added to something to fill a deficiency or to make something more functional or complete.
A dietary supplement provides the body with nutrients that are not obtained with large enough quantity in the diet.
Vitamins are substances that living organisms need to function, grow, and develop correctly, since the body cannot synthesize these in adequate amounts, vitamins must be from diet.
Minerals are substances that have no carbon (vitamins do have carbon) that form naturally in earth and is used for physiological functions
The human body is 75% water which is lost by sweating, peeing and breathing, and needs to be replaced on a daily basis.
A nerve is a bundle of tissues that carry electrical messages/communications between the brain, spinal cord, organs, and muscles.
Processing food is using chemicals and machines to change or preserve it, but these can destroy vitamins, minerals and other parts of the body.
Organic food is free from additives and made with few or no artificial methods. Organic food can have pesticides too, if they are not synthetic. They have to adhere by some government standards.
All natural food have minimal processing and no hormones, antibiotics, flavoring, sweetener, or food coloring
Cholesterol is a waxy substance found in body tissues, and it is used in building cells and performing other functions in the body. However, too much cholesterol increases heart failure chance. The body makes cholesterol as well as meat, fish, eggs, butter, cheese and milk.
BMI is used for estimating how much people should weigh based on height, but it's inaccurate when evaluating an individual, due to factors.
Body fat percentage is the measurement of fat as percentage of body weight. If bf% if 10% and you weight 140lbs, then you have 14lbs of fat. 3-5% is needed to function properly for men. Weight and BMI matter much less than body look, low body fat percentage.
